Why should I shop at Brie?

Brie is the first platform of its kind! Your purchases and donations support incredible causes and charities, plant trees, cleanup plastic, offset CO2 all while helping to keep clothing out of landfills and reduce pollution and water waste.

Where do you ship?

Brie currently ships only within the United States, excluding Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico. We hope to begin offering shipping to those States and Canada in the near future.

How much does shipping cost?

We are happy to offer free shipping on all orders over $69. Orders that do not meet the limit will incur a charge of $10.99.

How long does shipping take?

Brie typically processes orders within 2 days. After your package ships, it takes about 3-8 business days to arrive. If your order is placed on a Friday after 11am EST the goods will not ship until after the weekend, regardless of expedited shipping method.

Note: We do not process or ship any orders on Saturdays, Sundays, or on the following holidays:

What’s your return policy?

Your satisfaction is our priority. If for any reason you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return items within 14 days from the delivery date. Enjoy free unlimited returns for just $1.98 at checkout through our third-party partner, Redo. If you choose not to use Redo and toggle the return option off, you will be responsible for the full cost of the return shipping label.

Refund Requirements:

  • To qualify for a refund, all items must be returned in their original condition.
  • A restocking fee of $1.49 applies to all returned items.
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • Please note that final sale items and all lots are not eligible for return.
  • Discounts and promotions are not reimbursed

Please ensure that all returns go through our official return system. Returns received without following the proper return protocol will not be eligible for a refund or exchange. To initiate a return or exchange, please use our return portal.


Why did an item disappear from my cart or at checkout?

Just a heads up, we operate on a first-come, first-served basis, and each item is unique - we don't do holds at the moment. So, if you noticed an item missing from your cart or at checkout, it simply means that it found a new home and has been sold.

Is it possible to use multiple promo codes at checkout?

You can use one promo code per order.

Can I make changes to my order after it has been placed?

All orders are processed and completed as quickly as possible. If there is a modification request or need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible after placing your order. We cannot guarantee that your changes or modifications will be granted, we will do our best to accommodate your request.

What is Brie’s Authentication Guarantee?

Brie's authenticity and quality experts carefully examine each item we list. Should you ever have any concerns about the authenticity of the product you ordered, please get in touch with us at hi@brie.co. We have a zero-tolerance policy towards replicas. If the item turns out to be unauthentic, we will issue a full refund.

What happens if my item arrives damaged or not as described?

We work hard to inspect each item to maintain the highest quality standards and list the items as accurately as possible. However, some things may occasionally slip through the cracks. Please get in touch with us immediately upon opening your package to resolve the issue directly.

What do I need to know about Sizing?

Due to the variety of brands featured on Brie, sizes may vary. We advise consulting the brand's website for precise fitting information, especially if you're unfamiliar with the brand. While we uphold rigorous quality standards, slight stretching or shrinking may occur in some items, potentially affecting fit. For detailed measurements, please refer to the item descriptions.

What are the different item conditions?

At Brie, we prioritize quality in our secondhand offerings. Each item undergoes thorough inspection by our team to ensure it meets our high standards.You can trust that we do not showcase items with noticeable signs of wear, ensuring a  shopping journey for our customers.

  • New With Tags: This item is brand new, never worn or used.
  • Like New: This item is in superb condition, showing minimal to no signs of previous use.
  • Good:This item is without significant flaws but may display minor indications of wear or use, such as slight fading or pilling in specific areas like knees, seams, and hems. Additionally, hardware may exhibit minor scratches.
  • Fair: Despite being previously worn, this item remains in satisfactory condition with minimal signs of wear, including up to two small holes, light pilling, fading, or stains. Should an item not meet our listed condition, please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team – we're here to assist you.
What is the accepted form of payment? 

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Diners, JCB, China UnionPay cards or debit cards. We are unable to accept checks, money orders.

DONORS

How can I  schedule a pick-up for my donations?

To schedule a pick-up for your donations on Brie, first click on the "Request Pickup" button on the header menu. From there, you would select the purple "Schedule Now" button and be taken to a page where you can choose a time and date for pick-up. Please ensure that the good condition items and recyclables are separated and placed in clearly labeled bags. To reduce our emissions impact, we kindly request that you schedule a pickup only when you have 35 good condition items.

What is the minimum amount of clothing required for a local pick-up?

To minimize carbon emissions, we require a minimum of 45 items in good & washed condition. Please adhere to this requirement. 

Do I have to be present for pick-up?

No, you don’t have to be present. Your bags should be clearly marked for pick-up and placed outside your front door. To make our pickup process as efficient as possible, please include any instructions for our driver in the special instructions section of your sign-up.

Where can I use my charity gift card?

We use a third-party non-profit platform, Tisbest, for all of our charity gift cards. You will receive a $10 gift card. You can donate your gift card to over 1.5 million accredited, U.S.-based charities. The gift card never expires, and 100% of the proceeds go to the charity of your choice.If there are any issues with your gift card, please contact Tisbest here.

What can I send to Brie?

We accept all women's, children’s, and men’s clothing, shoes, jewelry, and accessories. The items must be washed, fully dry, odorless, in good condition. Additionally, for every pickup of 45 or more items in good condition, we'll also collect a bag of clothing for recycling.

What happens to my donations?

We handle each item with care. Items are either listed on our platform, where each purchase supports charities, tree planting, CO2 removal, and plastic cleanup; donated to a homeless shelter; or responsibly recycled and turned into insulation and furniture stuffing.

Can I send in poor condition clothing?

Yes, with 45 good-condition items, we accept a bag of damaged clothing and, through our partner, recycle the damaged clothes into insulation and stuffing, ensuring nothing ends up in the landfill. Pickups, processing, and labor require time and resources. To offer our recycling service for your damaged clothes, we need the good-condition items, which support charities, tree planting, CO2 removal, and plastic cleanup.

If you don’t meet our minimum requirement, don’t let the clothing you don’t send to us go to the landfill, even if it is in poor condition. Use the recycling locator to find the nearest drop-off location near you. Items can still be recycled even if they are torn, stained, have missing buttons, or broken zippers. The fibers are turned into new clothes, pillow stuffing, wiping cloths, even insulation for homes.

Can you return my donations?

We are so sorry, but once you send items to us, we cannot return them. Please make sure before you send us anything, that you are willing to part with it. 

Why should I choose Brie instead of a donation bin?

We are transparent, and both our donors and buyers choose where the proceeds will go. We also plant trees, cleanup plastic, and remove CO2 with each product sold.
